iPad App Settings for Non-desk Workers

This document explains how to configure settings to enable users to use the iPad app for non-desk workers. These settings are performed by kintone system administrator or cybozu.com administrators.

First, you set whether or not to allow the app to be used, and then you specify which apps are allowed to be used.

Steps

  1. Click the Settings icon (the gear-shaped icon) at the top of kintone, then click kintone administration.

  2. Clickノンデスクワーカー向けiPadアプリの利用設定under Other on the kintone administration screen.

  3. On theノンデスクワーカー向けiPadアプリの利用設定screen, check the box forノンデスクワーカー向けiPadアプリの利用を許可するunder [Basic settings].

  4. On "利用を許可するアプリ", click "Create app".

  5. Enter the name of the app that you want to use with the iPad app for non-desk workers in the "Search for apps" field.

  6. Click an app from the displayed suggestions that you want to use in the iPad app for non-desk workers.
    Apps that satisfy either of the following conditions are displayed as suggestions:

    • On the Permissions for app screen, the user who is performing the action is granted View records or Add records permission.
    • The management permission for the app is granted (all of the following conditions are met).
      • On the "Permissions for app" screen, the user performing the action is granted "App Management" permission.
      • On the "kintone administration" screen, the user who is performing the action is granted the permission "Manage apps" on the "Permissions" screen.
  7. Click Save.
